I don’t do much lure fishing anymore  but when I came across this old aluminum Umco tackle box I had to have it.  You’ve got to love the simple utilitarian styling.

Two Personal Bests in one Session.

2009 was a great year for my carp fishing.  In my best day of fishing ever,  I caught a new PB mirror and new PB common.  My previous common PB had stood for over ten years and  the large mirror was only my third ever. The pics are pretty low quality as both fish were full of spawn and I wanted to get them back in the water as soon as possible. Both fell for  two grains of Wacker Scopex Pips combined with a piece of plastic maize.

My cat thinks I spend too much time on the Internet.
